1. Zeiss Forum Glaucoma Software (First to obtain in Western India)

Glaucoma Workplace is special software that integrates the following functions to healp your Glaucoma Specialist in glaucoma management

Processing and displaying visual field data and optical coherence tomography (OCT) data
Generating visual field reports
Generating reports that contain results from perimetry, OCT, and fundus photography
Providing CIRRUS algorithms and databases for retinal nerve fiber layer thickness (RNFL), ganglion cell plus inner plexiform thickness, optic nerve head (ONH) measurement, and Guided Progression Analysis (GPA)

ZEISS FORUM Archive images, reports and videos^* locally via Wi-Fi network or remotely via VPN connection. It gives High-resolution display and gesture control allows ergonomic and intuitive medical grade review of images and reports. It can be used for patient education using the iPad and allows enhanced communication on a very personal level.

2. Zeiss cirrus OCT (Optical Coherence Tomogram)

This is the one of the latest machine available. This landmark instrument from Zeiss, the German company revolutionized the way we look at retina and optic nerve by means of diode laser and Optical interference method and gives cross section of the retina and optic nerve which was not possible till day. This has given treatment for many conditions which were not treatable earlier and has allowed the best monitoring of the treatment results. We also have new progression software which helps us in picking worsening of disease in earlier stage. This software is available in very limited centres in Mumbai.

It is also the first retinal OCT with full anterior chamber imaging and measurement capability. It can expand Ophthalmologist’s ability to include comprehensive imaging and quantification of the anterior segment for refractive surgery planning and follow-up, corneal evaluation, and glaucoma assessment.

3.ZEISS- Humphrey Field Analyzer 3: HVF Model 840

This static perimeter from German company is one of the world trend setter and is used for the diagnosis of glaucoma and various other neuro-ophthalmic disorders. Again we have latest progression software for picking up worsening of glaucoma in earlier state. This software is also available in very few centres in Mumbai.

4. ZEISS VISUSCOUT 100 PORTABLE FUNDUS CAMERA

Visuscout 100 from ZEISS is a portable hand held non mydiatric fundus imaging solution. ZEISS VISUSCOUT 100 allows simple retinal imaging and great flexibility when and wherever the need arises. It is useful for checkups and documentation of retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and AMD. It is useful for outreach programs, mobile eye care and satellite offices Well-suited for health care professionals interested in an easy, cost-effective fundus imaging solution

5. Zeiss SL 115 Slit Lamp

Carl-Zeiss is one of the best company making slit-lamp; a basic yet the most important instrument for any eye examination. It is used for detailed examination of the front structures of the eye; and with the use of special lenses it allows the examination of the optic nerve, vitreous and retina in the minutest detail.

6. Carl-Zeiss Goldmann Applanation Tonometer

This is gold standard instrument for the most accurate measurement of the intraocular pressure of the eye which is mounted on the slit lamp. This is made by the world famous Carl-Zeiss, a German company

7. Autorefractometer – TOPCON K-8900

This instrument, a Japanese make allows fast and near accurate assessment of the refractive power (spectacle glass number) of the patient’s eye. It saves considerable time when compared with retinoscopy; an age old technique for refraction. It can also measures the corneal curvature of the eye, which is useful for cataract IOL power calculation along with contact lens fitting.

8. AXIX NANO: A-Scan

This Japanese made automated machine measures the spectacle power with precision of 0.12 diopter. It also measures power accurately for progressive lenses which is difficult to measure with other machines.

9. AXIX NANO Pachymeter

This Japanese made automated machine measures the central corneal thickness with precision of 5 micron. It is integrated tool for glaucoma management.

10. YAG LASER

The VISULAS® YAG III photodisruption laser from ZEISS brings together third-generation optical experience, technological excellence and a deep understanding of practical applications.

11. Appasamy PHOT-SLITLAMP

Slitlamp bio-microscope is used as stethoscope in ophthalmic practices. Examination of an eye case is not completed unless being examined through slit lamp. For documentation purpose photography is an important tool in clinical practices. This allows us to capture, store patient’s eye condition. We can use this to show patients to educate and compare in follow up visit to evaluate effect of our treatment.

12. Streak Retinoscope

This is the gold standard instrument from German make which allows the determination of the refractive power of the eye (spectacle glass number)

13. NOX examination unit

This is a motorized chair examination unit which has slit lamp with Applanation tonometer, Autorefractometer, auto Lensmeter and ophthalmoscope mounted on it along with the vision chart. The beauty of this unit is that the patient does not have to move from one chair to another for the basic eye examination. So, this is the patient friendly instrument.
